hudson area lacrosse organization Began in 2008
What we want
Our Vision for the Hudson Area Lacrosse Association (HALA) is to be recognized as a competitive program for players ages 8 and up that emphasizes proper Lacrosse skills, sportsmanship, and good character.
Our goal is to best prepare our athletes for the game of Lacrosse and at the same time not to sacrifice our beliefs in our mission. It is always a fine line between fair and competitive, because not always is it fair not to be competitive. Competitive needs to be defined as doing what is right by the TEAM as a whole. Competitive does not in essence mean WINNING at all costs. The winning at all costs mentality is not part of our Mission or Goal.
What we Plan
The Mission of Hudson Area Lacrosse Association (HALA) is to promote youth sports in our community while encouraging teamwork, positive self esteem, sportsmanship, respect for others, personal responsibility, and perseverance. We believe the attainment of exceptional athletic skill and the winning of games are secondary to the development of character and good citizenship.
What we Achieved
Hudson Area Lacrosse Association (HALA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of creating opportunity and growing interest in Lacrosse by building sustainable programs as a means of youth development. Since 2008 HALA has worked to empower and educate students on and off the field.
We serve players from ages 8 to 12th grade who reside in the area served by and surrounding Hudson, WI.
HALA is an active member of US Lacrosse. USA Lacrosse unites the community of players, coaches, officials, parents, and program leaders. Working together, we inspire participation, enrich the athlete experience, and support the growth of the sport.
